TEAM 4 is led by Professional Triathlete Heather Haviland, who lost her mother to cervical cancer. It was formed in 2006 in an effort to raise awareness to the “4” cancers that predominantly affect women: breast, uterine, cervical, and ovarian.

Over thirty remarkable women took part in an eventful and memorable inaugural year; raising close to $100,000 for the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. The Cancer Center exists to provide quality education, research and patient care, leading to the prevention and cure of cancer, and Team 4 is proud to support this mission.
Sadly, if cancer has not touched your life it really is only a matter of time. This is why TEAM 4 is continuing its quest in the Race to Fight Cancer. TEAM 4 is open for any women involved in racing at ANY level or is interested in racing in a multi sport event. Currently about 25 remarkable women make up TEAM 4. Some are survivors and many have either lost or watch loved ones preserve to cancer. The athletes train for triathlons of all distances from sprints to Ironman. For many triathletes, participation is not about winning. But for TEAM 4 it is all about winning the race against cancer!
Please take a look around the site to learn more about the amazing women of TEAM 4 and to follow both our fundraising and racing progress.
