TEAM 4 is committed in the race to fight cancer.  We will inspire women to live healthy lifestyles in all we do.  We believe that education, early detection and support will lead to more lives free of cancer.

TEAM 4 is a team of female triathletes, from first timers to veterans, that will raise money for the four cancers most likely to affect women – uterine, ovarian, cervical and breast.  While the team trains for triathlons of all distances from Ironmans to sprints; they will not only be aiming for the finish line,  but promoting healthy lifestyles to other women along the way and raising funds to find a cure for cancer.

The team is heading into its fourth year and to date, we have raised over $170,000 for Breast and Gynecological Research through the Medical College of Wisconsin.   Over 80 women have been part of TEAM 4 with a wide range of ages and athletic ability.  Several are cancer survivors and nearly half of us have watched our moms win and lose battles with cancer.  It is important to note that even though we are not backed by a non-profit organization with a large budget and infrastructure, we are a “team” of women making a powerful and significant impact on our community.
